Now my little man is going on 15 months and I am ready to pursue this dream. It has been an interesting road since Ryley’s birth. I gained 41 pounds throughout my pregnancy and that was while still CrossFitting and maintaining an OK diet. (I tried to Fran the baby out the day before my due date, hah!) I can’t even imagine what I would of gained if I stopped moving. Patience and consistency in the box helped me to shed most of the baby weight.
Then in November I wanted to step my game up. I signed up with RP Strength for 1:1 nutrition coaching with Dr. Jen Case. With her help I was able to lose 10 pounds in 3 months. I lost body fat and even increased my lean muscle and strength. I PR’d my strict pull ups and squat clean amongst other things. And as you can see in the picture below, actual abs started to appear! I didn’t even have those when I cheered at the U!
I also started my second round of cutting with Dr. Jen Case this week. Nutrition tends to be tough for me but I’m locked and fully loaded with my eyes on the prize. Just like with my pregnancy, I wanted to document and share my “road to the stage”. Rachel is also joining me on this journey.
