I can feel myself slowing down. It is becoming more difficult to stay motivated with my training. Keith helps me to stay on track by reminding me that I will feel better if I hit the gym. And I do. My SIC membership expired on 11/13. After taking 4 days off from any exercise, I decided that it is time to decrease my training days from 5 to 4 days a week. Since I am no longer using heavy weight or Oly lifting, I am going to continue following the programming at home. I will drop in on Saturdays to see my friends and to not feel too out of the loop.
Now that Relaxin and other crazy hormones are coursing through my body, I have been experiencing hip laxity and some pelvic pain. What once took effort to put my lower vertebrae back in alignment has now become quite easy as any slight movement can slip me back into place. I want to make sure that my hips and pelvis are properly aligned and ready for the expansion needed to give birth. So I have been seeing Dr. Mandarino (Chiropractor) and Dean (LMT) regularly. The relief they offer is like a breath of fresh air. I feel like a new person every time I leave the office. It's also a nice way to treat myself. A refreshed and stress free mom makes a healthy and happy baby.
